Up for sale in Greater Toronto Area is a Brocade ICX7450-48P switch fully optioned with
- 1 x ICX7400-1X40GQ QSFP+ Switch Module
- 1 x ICX7400-1X40GQ QSFP+ Switch Module
- 1 x ICX7400-4X10GC 4 x 10GbE RJ45
- 2 x 1000w AC power supplies
- 2 x Fan modules

Console cable is missing but I DIY-ed one for myself from donor DB9 and USB-B cables. It's easy to do.

Works properly. Cosmetically 9/10. Some really light scratches top and bottom (probably from rack loading/unloading). Front/back/sides are like new.

Recently upgraded to the latest recommended firmware (thanks Fohdeesha for the excellent guide and resource page).
It's too much switch for me (measured 91W idle w/o attachments, not too loud but not quiet, and a lot of features above my skill level) so I'd like to see it find a new home.

Price: Not sure (EDIT: Preliminary price $1000 / C$1350). If you see this ad, please help me value the thing. I understand 10g copper module is a relatively rare, high dollar item. Really, help needed in this regard.

I am willing to deliver (up to a reasonable degree) in GTA. If no local interest, I'd be willing to ship it carefully packed (USA, rest of Ontario/Canada).

Thanks!

EDIT: I see there is a forum rule about not having a price posted. Did some prelim research on eBay: Cheapest switch with 4x10GbE fiber module is $750. Also online, 4x10GbE copper module is about $300-400 more expensive than 4x10GbE QFSP+. So I am posting $1000 (or C$1350) price for the time being. Open to suggestions and/or offers.

Here is a better version than yours would many agree, since it also has the 4x10gbps as sfp+

So I think you will have better luck selling yours if you lower the price to be lower than the one I listed.

I have no idea if your price is good or not - just trying to help you out :)

Thanks for the input, will think about it.

Most of these come with 4x10g SFP+. Online, the 4x10g SFP module alone is ~400$, while the 4x10g copper is ~800$ (those are I guess new retail prices). That was the basis for my slightly stronger price, but will reevaluate as the time goes.
