Other parts of the world have much different markets and prices--gotta keep that in mind with the international userbase here at STH.

In the EU you can get v3/v4 hardware 12 lff for under 200€ . Sure the 1U formfactor is a novelty but it's not a "over twice the price for an older gen" novelty.

If so i can drop the pice for sure, have you a link for Germany ? Dual Socket ? Dual 10Gbit ethernet ? with rails and Caddys ?

I like dealing with datatek.co.uk . Message their email and they give you a stock list .
This was their "this is taking more space than is worth " list they gave me yesterday.
No caddies and no rails unless mentioned but those can be easily gotten on ebay.

But importing this to EU/Germany would add a significant amount of import tax and fees +19% VAT. Been there, done that.
Prices in the UK are indeed often much lower for locals than in the EU, but not for EU citizens…

I just bought 460€ worth of hdds (8* 10TB) and I paid 130€ of tax(23% vat).

especially when you consider that everything necessary is included.
they are special form factors, will surely find a buyer.
