FS: 4x Samsung SSD PM1643 3.84TB SAS 12Gb/s MZ-ILT3T8A

These drives were pulled from a NetApp appliance. I reformatted them to 512 byte sector sizes. They will show up in Windows and Linux now as long as you have a compatible SAS controller and the appropriate cables. I've used both SAS2 and SAS3 controller cards.

These will NOT work with a SATA controller. Performance is 1100 MB/s using a SAS3 controller, and around 550 MB/s on SAS2.

The drives range from 75 to 175 TB written with a rated endurance of approximately 6935 TB. Any questions, please ask before purchasing.

Asking $350 shipped each.

Sorry to dig this thread up but how did you format them to 512?
I have the opportunity to source some at a very good price and want to be sure I can use them.
Did you use any special method\firmware or just sg_utils?

Thanks
