Thanks, good to know. Makes me wonder why that is not implemented in other operating systems...

For my S6100 I have contacted Dell and was informed that it was a fixed version. Else they would have replaced it since it is/was under warranty when i got it

If anyone is curious, you can run setpci -s 00:00.0 8.w to determine the chip stepping.
If the command returns 0003, you have a C0 stepping CPU which is good.

about the port breakout of dx010, manually edit the port configuration file and then reload can run, but DPB related commands cannot work (a little troublesome)
