For sale is a 10-node server farm. Functioning perfectly. This system was used for 3D rendering, and performed very well. Has spent most of it's time idle with the occasional overnight rendering job. Our company wound up phasing out 3D animation from our services we offered. so sadly it's time to let this go :\

10 servers total, each has :
2x Xeon E5-2670(v1 2012)
32gb ECC RAM
128GB SSD ( Purchased new last year )
built in SFP+ 10GBe connectivity

24 port 10GBE SFP+ Quanta switch
24 port 1gb ethernet Cisco switch
11 2ft SFP+ patch cables

all neatly encased in a 42u full tower rack.

This is a system we bought from NATEX last year, here is a direct link to their site. It's got all the info there too.

Quanta QSSC-2ML 10 Unit Server Cluster/32GB, Natex.us

The only difference/chages we made was we bought 10 SSD's and installed them. Currently all drives are wiped clean in preparation for the sale, no formatting on them.

selling for 3500. So you could save around 1k.

Located in Orange County, CA. local pickup preferred

*know.

42U is too big.
I have HP 22 (10622 G2)lying around.
I would want to install them in that.

I haven't installed many servers in racks before so wanted to know if anything special about this setup.

The whole rack is 3'6" deep , and the servers go almost the whole back. So let's just ballpark say it's a standard 1U case that's about 3ft deep. If your rack has 3 feet of depth you're good to go.
