So here's the rub. I wanted to add more interfaces to FreeNAS. When I go to network -- interfaces there's nothing but the interfaces are on the network -- network summary. I also want to put storage on its own vlan. I know 2017 I'm being progressive.
When I tried using an unused NIC under interfaces it rendered my entire FreeNAS setup unusable.
Is there a good guide to doing this? Ideally I want to be able to setup NICs with vlans and then have a separate management 1gb NIC.
