I'm having a SOS moment here.

Here's what I did:
  • Installed Corral
  • ZFS import
  • All was great on my Xeon D UNTIL I realized it was all over 1gig. So I turned on the Xeon D's ix0 interface and set a static IP. I didn't change the igb0 interface.
  • EVERYTHING DIED!!!!
By that last line, not even the original IP worked. Neither interface was up. I waited two minutes. I then went to IPMI console and got a unix::> prompt which I couldn't figure out.

So I'm now at a useless system. :(

I dont recall the incantation to set up network parameters from the CLI. But not to worry...Type 'help' at the "unix::>' prompt. It's a progressive help so one of the commands might be 'ui'...you can type 'help ui' to get more.

Shouldn't be too hard to puzzle out the solution to your predicament...

Typing help at the screen scrolls longer than the console will output.

Maybe it's time to just bit the bullet and re-install.....
