So I was trying to set up a basic switch in HyperV using FreeBSD on top of my Chelsio T540 by bridging it, but I get no connection when connecting through it.
I followed the handbook to set up the bridge, ifconfig bridge0 create, then ifconfig bridge0 addm hn1 .... addm hn5, and then went through and did ifconfig up to all of them, but I can't ping my router at all (which is hn1)
Currently I have it set up so hn1 is a private switch in Hyper-V between a OPNsense VM and then the rest are the T540 interfaces.
Am I missing something? Or do I need to set up STP or something like that?
