found a few older threads of yours in the FreeBSD mailing lists - ever got anything RDMA related going on FreeBSD (NFS or iSer) ?

Yes sorry for delay Rand I was on long holidays, so in summary I was connected to core dev team in Mellanox but those times it was unsuccessful, now I think I will try it again. For now I'm using Oracle Solaris +ZFS but I would love it to replace with FreeBSD.
Please let me know if you successful test it iSER with FreeBSD.

Oracle doesnt do nvdimms unfortunately, so not an option for me.

Only thing I have seen I think was initiator, nothing target related :/

NVDIMM ? Optane DC ? But I'm using Solaris for x86 on Lenovo server not on SPARC.

No - actual NVDimms pre Optane.

Well I'd probably use OmniOS or sth like that but there is no mention of NVDimm support anywhere i checked on Solaris/clones.
