Just as a heads-up. Doing a forum maintenance window this evening.

The new hosting platform with HTTP/2 instead of SPDY, newer versions of the entire stack and etc is ready to go.

It has been a VERY painful process. Every single component introduced some breaking change which made life fun.

I did a quick dry-run a few minutes ago. Start to finish is was around 2-3 minutes.

Plan on 5PM Pacific Time (UTC -7).

Look forward to seeing what forum software you use. Have been considering upgrading some forum software lately.

Spot on @MiniKnight

@Logan - this is mostly upgrading every part of the forums back-end and ditching Google SPDY for HTTP/2 support.

The best part, apt-get update && apt-get upgrade broke every single component!

@Patrick Ah, I misunderstood and thought you were changing from xenforo, too. Fear of breakage has prevented me from upgrading some things for years.

Seems to be going well thus far.

Other than HTTP/2 there is likely very little folks will notice, but underpinnings wise, this had to happen.

hmm @Patrick you're using nginx 1.10.0 which is outdated though ? last version on 1.10 branch was 1.10.3 and latest stable is nginx 1.12.0 and latest mainline is nginx 1.13.0 which is what I use for Centmin Mod as it now adds TLS v1.3 support on Nginx side which I am testing :)
