For Sale: Western Digital sold! RED 3tb drives (5) for $500 free shipping

Hi fellow STH'ers,

I just upgraded my array to 4tb drives and so I'm selling 5 3tb wd red drives. They were only used for about 6-12 months in a home server doing light duty.

They were powered on 24/7.

Make me an offer - I'd prefer to sell all 5 to one buyer.

You might want to publish the SMART data for each drive so that potential buyers can view them.

I already pulled them and prepared them for shipping - they are all under warranty and I have not had any issues with any of them

It was just an idea and you can certainly conduct your own sale however you would like I don't need any hard drives right now, so this comment wasn't really for me. But, I wouldn't even buy drives from a family member without seeing SMART info first. Being in warranty is certainly nice though. I'd also throw out a number for people to bid at or you may never get anyone to respond.

Good luck with your sale and congrats on your newer, bigger replacement drives!
