When tested with a minimal draw config, the max difference is around 50w.

When tested with a 90%+ draw, the max difference is around 100w.

It's hard to give you an average as that's very configuration-dependent, but the difference between 1/2 CPUs will not be too significant.

For a 2U, it is pretty quiet.

For what its worth, these use Intel Quiet Thermal Technology and Intel Quiet System Technology.

Hi Kev - it will only take E5-2600/E5-2600 v2 series.
