Oh dear, even when paying so much attention i forget to put location, will update thread. As for the Quanta's, they are sitting in the warehouse currently and all i have on it at this moment is the link. Was planning on adding more info soon when i have some time.

I wonder how the combo deal will match up against a Ryzen 3 build to approx the same total cost. Several years of generational changes but with the combo deal you get two more cores.
Of course what kind of x79 board are we talking about? Some OEM kind with limited IO or does it have onboard sound, plenti of USB etc?

Yea, OEM but pretty well built. Can even OC. Yesterday i actually replaced my old Fx-8350 build with this and the diffrence is pretty big for that price of a cpu.

Note: only has one PCI-E x16 slot and 1 x SATA 3.0 / 3 x sata 2.0 rest is correct.

Thats correct, its the EMC version but last time i checked i couldn't find too much info on that model so i used those pics instead. If you pm me what details you need i can go and take some more pics and maybe add them to the thread as well.
