Can anyone help me with resetting ACL / Folder permissions.

I have somehow ended up with a share that cannot be accessed . I tried resetting the ACL's using the reset ACL's option. That did not work and I even tried using the two day temp license to add the correct permissions ( everyone@ ) rwxpdDaARWcCos

But it's only applying it to the top folder. How can reset / re-apply permissions on all sub folders and files so that everything is set to (everyone@ ) rwxpdDaARWcCos
attached are some screenshots of the permissions I have managed to set on the top folder and a screenshot of the folder below it.

Have you tried
reset ACL's (below ACL listing) >> modify with the recursive option?
(means root=full, everyone@=modify)

btw
- This is an option that is also available in the free version.
- This affects files and folders, share permission is a different setting

Hi Gea,

I am 90% sure that is what I tried this Friday and left running until it completed. But maybe I forgot to click the recursive option.
Anyway I managed to copy the permissions from the main folder to all sub folders and files using /usr/bin/chmod and /usr/bin/ls .
