Well I have not been able to repeat it at all, maybe I was mining the old algo and thought I was mining the new one because now I am doubting myself.

I think the secret with Sumo is to run it with one "index:0" instead of two.

With running two "index:0" 's, example below, I would get about 760 H/s

RX580 info:

I have two identical RX 580 8gb Power color red devils, one in my dual E5-2620v1 server and one in a Windows 10 i3 8100 gaming pc.

With identical settings in amd.txt

1 thread
intensity 864
worksize 8

In linux the RX 580 gets ~660 H/s
In Windows 10 the other identical RX 580 gets ~428 H/s :confused:

Playing around with afterburner by overclocking the memory I can only get it up to ~456 H/s.

Both running the same version of xmr-stak except obviously one in Windows and one in Linux, that is VERY odd.

EDIT: Apparently I was running the Windows 10 pc with the old algo on an older version of xmr-stak , I could have sworn that I updated it. I swapped it over to the new monero algo and latest xmr-stak and will retest it on sumo in a few days.

i think the vega 64 fe has 16 gb ram, while reg vega 64 has 8, which could explain the difference in speeds. i set my intensity to 1000 and max has is 785 H/s so far. anything over 1000 seems to create issues starting.

Yep 16 Gigs of ram.

I like it WAY more than the GTX 1080 Ti that I had.

It has enough horsepower that mining at the highest it will go does not affect the desktop at all.

Can do my usual day to day stuff while its mining.

Makes a killer workstation gpu, except for the fan noise at %80.

I was able to go to 2048 max intensity anything more starts slowing the hashrate.

probably just mine graft straight to an exchange...so much easier to mine direct to an exchange than to BTC than cash!

IIRC with the new SUMO algo using 4mb/thread, you might want to try 3 threads per CPU on your 2620s?
