First cross flashing Fujitsu D2616-A22 to LSI 9260-8i

Hello. I need some advice on cross flashing my Fujitsu D2616-A22 to LSI 9260-8i.
Can anyone confirm if this is the correct procedure? I downloaded the las FW 12.13.0-0151.


1. Clean flash with megarec: megarec -writesbr 0 sbrempty.bin
2. Reboot
3. Change SBR to LSI SBR with megarec: megarec -writesbr 0 sbrlsi.bin
3a. Clean the FLASH with megarec: megarec -cleanflash 0
4. Flash new LSI 12.13.0-0151 FW with megarec: megarec -m0flash 0 0102_lsi.rom
5. Reboot

The easiest way that I find is this.

1. megarec -cleanflash 0
2. Reboot
3. megarec -writesbr 0 9260-8i.sbr (your SBR file)
4. megarec -m0flash 0 9260-8i.rom (your ROM file)
5. Reboot

do you just not flash the SPD ? why not? it is important.

I've never flashed the SPD, why is it important, you just need to flash the FW, you don't even have to flash the SBR unless you have an IBM M5014/5 and want to decrease boot time

I also have one of these cards. I am desperately trying to flash this card to IT mode only with no raid.
I will literally kiss the person that can help me with this!

I have crossflashed many roms but always still seems to pick up as a D2616 with raid....
