Hi

Finding Older Supermicro BIOS Files.

I had some issues and needed an older Bios. I used the wayback machine.

Wayback Machine

I think this Direct link might help. It takes some time to download.

BIOS Download | Support - Super Micro Computer, Inc.

Choose the BIOS Zip file required.

Open a link for a "New Tab" from the URL provided and accept the End User Licence. Save the File.

I hope this helps. and good luck.

For the X11SPI, that version doesn't seem to exist. I see the following:

1.0a
2.0a
2.0b
2.0
2.1
3.0b
3.1
3.2
3.3

Happy to share any/all of those if you'd like.

On another note, I took it upon myself to get every single BIOS and IPMI firmware from Supermicro. Any interest in me hosting that? Winds up being ~50GB after accounting for duplicates.

My colo rack has 100mbit unmetered, so not too worried about bandwidth. Just asking for approval before posting for various reasons.

Sorry for replying to an older thread but anyone know if the 2.1 BIOS will accept a Xeon 8160 or 8176 ES CPU's? I read that you might need 3.0 to support some of the newer CPU's but thay 3.0 doesn't allow ES. Thank you
