You can only overclock by Software.
Read the startpost.

Hello everyone,

just out of curiosity: What is the highest (stable) clock you achieved for the 7502 QS/ES?

Hi, just setup Dual EPYC ZS1406E2VJUG5 on H11DSI and have bad results in Cinebench and Corona. 21422 score in C20 with "Best of both" preset is way lower than expected and tested by others. What may go wrong?

Strange thing that with "High multicore" preset results the same...

Without use of overcloking program it's 15736 scores C20

Hello everyone again.

I'm stuck with Dual ZS1406E2VJUG5. I've tried to overclock them but any settings in utility gave me same results as stock +-5-10% (I think it's just variety of results). Temperatures are low and it seems that there is something that caps TDP and no overclocking happened.

My results in Corona benchmark was nearly identical (smth 7.000.000 rays) with SMT on and with SMT off. Identical with 128 cores and 64 cores and even with 32 cores (32 cores was smth 5.500.000 rays).

May be there is magical checkbox in bios or anywhere else to remove this cap and let PCUs use all of their power? Panic detected. Help needed.

@fobus what are your settings in bios ?? cTDP and Package Power Limit (ppt).
Stock settings i think.

On Corona website same CPUs are reaching 20.000.000-24.000.000 rays with only one CPU. Three times more with only one CPU. It is frustrating so much...

fobus, are you on linux? You need to load a kernel module first (long shot as your probably on windows)
No. Windows. Was Windows. I can't even setup Windows now. System hangs during installation of Win. I'm stuck with no OS for now...

that doesn't sound right. I'm pretty sure I had no problems with booting windows from a fresh bios reset on a zs14 (once flashed with modded bios).

Try reloading the defaults. If you still can't boot windows may I suggest some stability testing: memtest and prime95 from usb sticks

I installed windows again wit only 4 cores active on each CPU. In this setup no problems was detected. OCCT runs without errors for 10 minutes with AVX2 on. I'll try with more cores later.

Update: 16+16 cores doing well too.

So there are some problems with CPUs i think. Investigation showes us that there are no way to get them work with more than 4 CCDs. Why they are so slow - don't know, but hangs and restarts are start to happen with more than 4 CCDs are active.

What version of windows are you using, I had issues especially with smt on getting 2x64core to boot windows until it was completely update and using pro for workstation. Test in Linux to make sure it works fine first.

for sure, windows 10 enterprise supports 128 cores/256 threads when x2apic enabled (apic local mode set to x2apic). my cpu's are 7742 oem. i dont know about zs-serie's

when i was installing win 10 enterprise on m2.nvme i couldn't get win10 booted. i could installed on m2.nvme, but not booted.
i went 2,5inch-ssd-way.

@fobus maybe your cpu's are partially broken because they are ES/QS ??

Win 10 Enterprise boots well from m2.nvme. Problems are happened with more than 4 CCDs. Even if I set 6 CCDs with 1+1 core each it hangs.
