There is really no need to cheap out on PSUs. Not to mention that this one is not particularly cheap, at least whan you take into account that you probably don't need 1600W.
Estimate how much power your system will actually draw, then buy a reasonably sized quality PSU. It probably won't cost you more than this.

Totally agree that 1600w is overkill. Worst case: 2x 1080Tis = 550w, and even a "beast mode" DP Xeon build with board would probably peak at ~350w. Add a bunch of drives and you MIGHT make it to 1000w.

Also, this particular PSU screams Chinese knockoff (the label says "90 plus gold?!").

Shameless plug: I have a nearly new Supermicro 1200w 80+ Platinum PSU for not a whole lot more that'd be perfect for your use case. Deets are here...
