I have a storage array running OpenIndiana with napp-it as a management interface. I just received a 4gb fiber card but I'm new to FC. Can I use an existing ZFS folder as a target, or am I not understanding the concepts here?

I suppose, you need to create a LU on a ZFS folder (a file or volume on it),
then a target and a view from your target (group) to your LU (logical unit)
Thats how I would do with iSCSI
