Hi,

I want to buy the following things:

Server stuff:
1x 42U Rack (~800mm distance between the posts, open frame is good, if it's a proper rack with doors it needs to have 120cm outer depth)
4x Intel Xeon E7 8880 v4 (min. QS, e.g. QKSM) (deferred for now)
2x LGA3647 Xeon - Must be Cascade Lake, should clock high and must work on an MD71-HB0. 8222L (QPLA) is a nice example for what I want. Should have at least 16 cores, better 20
2x Supermicro BPN-SAS3-826A-N4

PSUs:
1x 605P-1H

Watercooling:
8x Noctua NF-A20 Chromax
30x EK Classic 10/16 Fitting Nickel
3x CPC-NS6 (12,7mm Barb) Male and Female
1x Block for Tesla K80 (Bitspower / Bykski)

RAM:
33x 24x 8x Samsung M386B4G70DM0-CMA4 (32GB DDR3-1866 LRDIMM), often seen as UCS-ML-1X324RZ-A or HP 712384-081
4x 32GB DDR4-3200 UDIMM ECC

AMD:
defective AMD EPYC / TR
AMD TR / EPYC plastic carrier
Ryzen 5950X

Maybe:
Mellanox SX6036F switch (must be FDR and only when you make me a good price, as I don't *really* need it)
Mellanox EDR Infiniband switch (Only managed variant)

Found:
2x Supermicro SC826 chassis
2x ICX6610-48P
2x Mellanox SX6036
8x Mellanox CX354A
2x MORA420 - don't know whether I want Pro or LT yet. Grill (high version for NF-A20 would be great)
4x high core count E7 v4 (e.g. E7-8880 v4, E7-8890 v4, etc)
bought 4x E7-8880
2x PWS-2K20A-1R / PWS-2K04A-1R (bought 4x on ebay)
3x SAS3 HBA (internal) - at least 2x SFF-8643 (-> 8 Ports), should be in HBA / IT mode or support flash to HBA / IT (bought 5 AOC-S3008L-L8e on ebay)
1x Tesla K80 (bought on ebay)
1x Tesla M40 (bought 2 on ebay)
2x PWS-1K23A-SQ (decided against them, no need atm, too expensive and nowhere to find)
2x PWS-741P-1R (bought 4 on ebay)
2x 920P-1R / 920P-1R2 / 920P-SQ (bought 2 920P-1R on ebay)
2x Supermicro PWS-1K28P-SQ (bought on ebay)
3x Supermicro PWS-341P-1H (bought 4 on ebay)
6x Supermicro PWS-501P-1R PSU (bought 8 on ebay)
1x Mellanox SX60XX Railkit (MSX60-BKIT / MSX60-SKIT) or just the outer rails (bought 6 sets on ebay)
(up to) 40x 32GB DDR4-3200 RDIMM - no model preference, but should be on AsRock Rack / Supermicro / Gigabyte EPYC board QVL lists
alternatively: 32GB DDR4-2666 RDIMM.
3x Supermicro MCP-290-00054-0N Railkit
1x CHEAP Server RAM+CPU+MoBo Bundle (maybe including coolers). MUST have I2C (PMBUS). I only need it for an experiment that's probably going to kill the mobo. Must be CHEAP. Can be very basic.
(at least) 8x Supermicro Gen 5.5 3.5" LFF Tray (e.g. SC93301, must be compatible with CSE-848X)
(up to) 4x 4-8TB SATA HDD (no SMR please, only CMR)
1x Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3 (with second fan would be great)
1x Chenbro SR107 PLUS, including SAS hot swap backplanes would be great
1x 18U Rack (at least 1000 deep)
found in another forum
4-5x Mellanox 56G QSFP+ VPI Cable (MC2207128-003) found on ebay
Mellanox CX354A (FCBT or QCBT) found on ebay, I've got enough of them for now...

I'm located in Germany (Darmstadt)

Hi,

I want to buy the following things:

1x Mellanox SX60XX Railkit (MSX60-BKIT / MSX60-SKIT)
(up to) 40x 32GB DDR4-3200 RDIMM - no exact model preference, should preferably be on the QVL lists or AsRock Rack / Supermicro / Gigabyte EPYC Boards
(at least) 8x Supermicro Gen 5.5 3.5" LFF Tray (e.g. SC93301, must be compatible with CSE-848X)
1x or 25x or 33x Samsung M386B4G70DM0-CMA4Q (32GB DDR3-1866 LRDIMM), also labelled as Cisco UCS-ML-1X324RZ-A
1x Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3 (possibly with second fan)

Maybe:
defective AMD EPYC / TR
AMD TR / EPYC plastic carrier
4-5x Mellanox 56G QSFP+ VPI Cable (MC2207128-003)
Mellanox SX6036F switch (must be FDR, and only if you make me a good price, as I don't *really* need it)
Mellanox EDR switch (Should be VPI, i.e. Eth + IB, must be the managed version)
I don't really sure what you mean regarding Mellanox EDR, I'm not pretty sure what you have in your mind? Can you give me an example of a switch (model name VPI Infiniband/Ethernet + EDR 100G ) which are you looking for?

Yeah I just realised that I confused two switches, sadly there are no IB + Eth Switches at 100G.

Main post is fixed

What will you do, if this probably will kill the motherboard? :)

Thanks for the offer, but the rail kit would be too short and I'm only looking for exactly the power supplies I specified (Low and Medium Power Platinum) :)
