Hi there

I want to build my own home server, replacing a DS214play, and a Lenovo M910 tiny.
The new box would have 4 SATA 3.5" disks, and would run ESXi with a few VMs:

Xpenology (running webserver, dockers - Unify and Home Assistant, fileserver, vpn, pxe server)
Windows 10, just for browsing and stuff (accessed remotely by team viewer)
Server 2016 (won't be running full time, used for learning)
Another Windows 10 (not running full time, used to test apps)
pfSense
More will probably come, when I first get started using VM's.

Power consumption is a thing too, so as low as possible.

I have looked at these parts:

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700
Motherboard: ASRock X370 Killer SLI
Case: Cooler Master Elite 310
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX - DDR4 - 16 GB
PSU: Corsair VS Series VS450
GPU: Probably need a cheap GPU as well.

Is Ryzen good to use in ESXi by now?
I find a lot of threads about it not running very well, but they are old.
As far as I have read ESXi 6.5u1 should work fine, but still not sure.

Is my parts list okay, for a home server/NAS with ESXi?
