think he is reffering to connectX-7 nics


has anyone been able to buy them yet? I tried to spec/order them in supermicro H13 genoa systems inOCP3 slot, not gotten order confirmation though.

I have a couple of the cx-7s but can't update the fw to what might work with vmware 7 or 8.
I got mixed feedback from Nvidia/Mellanox support (which has been a bit of a mess since Nvidia acquired them!)
I have them working with ubuntu 22.04 (amd desktop cpu) but not any version of vmware.

what brand is your server? sometimes oem's make a little bit better jobs for firmware availability.
