ESXi 7U3: Windows Server 2022 crash when passthru Supermicro SATA controller

Hi,

My motherboard is Supermicro X10Dai, and it has 2 SATA controllers.

I can passthru the controller to Truenas normally.
However when I try to passthru it to the Windows Server 2022 vm, the vm hangs on the Windows logo a bit and then shutdown.

What should I do?

If ESXi is passing the controller without issue, then it sounds like a windows driver issue, make sure the correct drivers are installed in windows? Alternatively, for a test, try passing it through to a new blank VM and install windows on it clean, see if that fixes it?
