Trying to get a VSAN setup going with my 3 Lenovo RD630 servers, here's the configuration -

3x Lenovo RD630 with 1 E5-2620v1 and 96GB RAM
3x LSI 9211-8i flashed to IT mode mode, firmware version P19
3x Seagate 600 Pro 240GB
9x Hitachi 7K1000 1TB 2.5 drives (3 per server)
3x ConnectX-2 cards

I'm running into a problem before I can even get any VM's or ISO's loaded on the disks. The HBA sees the drives but the capacity is listed as 0.00B. I'm sometimes able to get the drives capacity to show up on some of the hosts after uninstalling and reinstalling the Mellanox drivers with the version I need but even then it's hit and miss. And when I do get the drives to show up I'm unable to upload anything to a datastore I create on one of the drives. The vmkernel log is filled with "nmp_ThrottleLogForDevice:3178" errors and the resulting scsi sense codes pointing towards the device "H:0x0 D:0x2 P:0x0" I've also tried a different LSI2008 driver to no avail. Has anyone run into this problem?

Have you run tests on your drives? Can you create a datastore on a disk and SSD normally?
