ESXi 5.1 Free - VM Backups

I've been a regular read-only member last months, there are a nice number of quality threads here!

My question is what solutions do you have in production environments with ESXi 5.1 free to make regular backups of your VMs?

What is your feedback/satisfaction with these tools when recovering VM backups to another host?

Newbie here as well.. I've a X95SCM (LOVE supermicro) based vmware running at home and have just ordered a Dell C6100 after reading up about it on this forum!
