EVGA: X99 Family (all models with BIOS 2.01 or above)
this bios rev is needed just to run any broadwell-ep on evga.I know that but for every es like A0 stepping or need to be latter ???
Not all ES CPU are the same so even asking about all "ES V4" it's irrelevant as you may receive a different 'version'. It doesn't matter if it's v1, v2, v3, v4, etc... all ES chips could be missing something or have different configurations than retail.Everybody that have ES V4, please tell us did you find something unusual about this kind of XEON CPU ? I mean something to missing or something to be factory disabled ?
Where did you find the Fry's deal? I have been watching for months and 2011v3 motherboard deals are so rareI have MSI: X99A Raider (BIOS P.4 or above) and Asrock X99 OC formula.
Both motherboard work with early version of E5 V4 ES chip as well as V3.
I brought the MSI X99 Raider from Fry's electronic for $109.
Asrock X99 OC from Ebay for $160
