o ordered what should be a 8375C any idea on how to get it closer to PL1 on this board and bios. NOTE I need smt OFF
you need maybe AVX512 loads. check the turbo bin table if the cpu reaches max. fused clocks.
but ES must not have sensefull TDP values. the prod. version has TDP=300W
edit:
with CPU-Z stress cpu it is normal the TDP limit is not reached.
run HWinfo, then run cinebench and check Power again.

GIGABYTE MS73-HB1 Server Motherboard Socket E LGA 4677
Intel Xeon Platinum 8570 ES Q30H LGA4677 56C/112T 1.9-3.8GHz CPU Processor

GIGABYTE MS73-HB1 Server Motherboard, Socket E LGA4677

Intel Xeon Platinum 8570 ES Q30H LGA4677 56C/112T, 1.9–3.8GHz CPU Processor

I’m having an issue where the system will not boot with dual CPUs installed. Each CPU works fine individually when installed in the CPU0 socket, but when I install both CPUs, the system fails to boot / no display.

Has anyone experienced the same issue with this motherboard and CPU combination? Is there any known solution or specific BIOS setting required for dual-CPU operation?

Both CPUs are the same Q30H stepping, and both have been tested successfully in the CPU0 socket. The memory modules have also been tested individually and are working. According to the manual, I installed the DIMMs in P0_A0 and P1_I0 for a 1-DIMM-per-CPU configuration.

BMC/IPMI detects CPU1 as present and shows CPU1 temperature/VRM readings, but the CPU inventory only lists CPU0. The system does not complete POST with both CPUs installed.

还有更新的型号,例如 MW83-RP0,以及 MS03-6L0 和 MS73-HB2 等升级版本。
我的问题是,技嘉在新主板和BIOS中仍然是否兼容之前支持的D0和

I have the same situation, MS73-HB1 (Rev 3) with dual Q30H. I can't get it to Post. Any tips you can share?

I was able to access the BMC Management Web Interface and I have BIOS version R16.

On related subject (at the moment I've moved away for QS area for reliability) - just in case if anyone was wondering what accelerators LGA4677 SPR 8481C (SRM8H , OEM Google) has - per socket:
x1 QAT (QuickAssist Technology)
x1 DLB (Dynamic Load Balancer)
x4 DSA (Data Streaming Accelerator)
x4 IAX/IAA (In-Memory Analytics Accelerator)
some of instructions might not be showing in CPU-Z because I've disabled in BIOS to speed up testing.

p.s. latest HWInfo64 detects them as 8480+ for some reasons.
Platform: Supermicro x13DEI

Which motherboard would you recommend for Xeon Max 9462 QS Q2HR (obviously I want to use HBM for this price :) ):

a) Gigabyte MS03-CE0
b) Supermicro MBD-X13DAI-T-B

Supermicro is 2-socket, which I would would use as a single-socket for now, maybe add a second cpu in the future if a bargain offer appears.
Also the Supermicro I can buy currently for 50% of the price of Gigabyte (only new avaliable in my country).
I bought Asus PRO W790 Sage SE from the seller of Supermicro and it works perfectly with QYFS so little risk there.

Will Q2HR and HBM work with Supermicro BIOS v1.00?
Any disadvantages going Supermicro way? I know that I won't be able to use all PCIe slots in 1S configuration.

To support the Intel 4th Gen Xeon Max series, the CPU requires an additional VRM controller. This MB X13DAI-T doesn’t have space for the VRM controller; therefore, it can’t support the Max series of CPU.

I have a Gigabyte MS73-HB0 with 2x Intel QYFR.
Seems to work fine with Bios R07.

However, after installing AMD graphics drivers (for RX Vega 64) it goes into bootloops or bluescreens and will not boot into windows. Removed the drivers and it works again. Is this a known issue/is there a fix? Or should I just use an Nvidia graphics card?

driver issue with the onboard ASPEED VGA in AST2600 (try disable in windows)
edit: not Gigabyte or ES issue.

so currently is there any version of bios able to boot up a xeon max es (e.g. qyfp), if there is, may I ask for a copy
did also not work with retail motherboard for unknown reason. it seems you need some old CPLD FW but only a guess.
i tried with similar early ES(not HBM) but no way with Debug BIOS, surprisely it POSTed with R BIOS after POST with QYFQ then swapped processors, but then stuck at memory init. CMOS reset and you have lost the fun.
Once the microcode is in the BIOS i had no POST, unexpected behave, i have no idea.

Thanks, and any other motherboard that may boot the hbm xeon?
Any luck to use that hbm ram or absolutely no chance

I heard that people has some partial success with SPR ES C2 steppings on some of the really old debug BIOSes, but the CPU was unstable and barely could boot OS and was unstable in any benchmark that used AVX2 or AVX512. I Don't remember details because of the "barely could boot OS" moved it to me to a category of "cool trinket on a wall in a frame if I'll find one for 50$" :)
