Is there any information about ES CPU support for Supermicro X12DPU-6? Need to run this system with Intel Optane 200.

I have bought a QYFS CPU and have Asus W790E SAGE SE board. I cannot get it to post. Should this CPU work out of the box or is there a BIOS modification necessary? Can I have some older revision of the CPU? Side note - the board was bought as untested, so chances are it's not fully OK. The post code ends on 67 (or B7), sometimes other. Thank you

Is this List also available for ASUS Z13PE-D16 (LGA4677) and ASRock Rack GNR2D16-2T (LGA4710)?
no.
ASRock Rack GNR2D16-2T:
some bad and some good.
bad:
the stepping A0/A2 ES (A06D0) have low clocks (intel learned lessons ?)
, e.g. Q463 turbo is 2,8Ghz but all core is also 2,8Ghz.
relative good multi thread performance but bad single thread...
good:
the Bx stepping ES (A06D1) are not much more expensive (or the A0/A2 are sold much too expensive)
B0 ES2, B1 is EVS(early validation sample), B2 is production.
W6xx/Q7xx is al most QS, Q5xx EVS. check CPU-Z screenshot if available for step 1.

Is GIGABYTE MS03CE0 also good for running Sapphire Rapids and Emerald Rapids ES CPUs? How about Gigabyte W790 AI Top?

Did the later BIOS versions of Gigabyte boards removed the support for ES CPUs. I heard Intel is pushing ME updates to block ES CPUs.

yes. with latest BIOS EMR still works with a tweak.
latest BIOS does not support SPR-SP D0 ES because of Intel CSI/MRC (not ME)
same with ASRock Rack C741
How about Gigabyte W790 AI Top?
gigabyte W790 do not support SPR-SP D0 ES like ASUS or ASRock, add the microcode may help but not tried so far.

i guess the Q0TU is your friend, step 5, runs on gigabyte C741 and W790 boards, light overclockable
afaik only available in china, e.g. here:

I assume I can still put the old bios back to GIGABYTE MS03CE0?This one looks better than MS33.

Have you ever used the lga7529 platform? I got a motherboard and found that the BMC couldn't start independently after power-on. I'm not sure if it's because the new platform doesn't have a south bridge, resulting in new features, or if there's something wrong with the motherboard. The motherboard is from Supermicro.

should work. what issue ? BMC led blink ?

there is one, but in the CPU(SoC)

Because I couldn't afford a CPU at the time, I wanted to check the condition of this motherboard. So, I powered on the motherboard without the CPU. The BMC's heartbeat light showed that it first turned green and then red, and then it would automatically cut off the power supply to the motherboard. I have recorded a video that I can send to you.
