QS have full Brand String e.g. "Intel Xeon Platinum 8580..." but es bit set. ( (ES) in CPZ-Z is added by, comes not from inside CPU )Isn't it normal for all ES/QS? Only reason I ask is my Q2SR shows up as the same thing (including ES).
Max not supported. Now I want to change my motherboard to asrock c741 SP2C741D16X-2T, but I dont know if it supports xeon max, because I didn't see max in cpu support list
i have SPC741D8UD-2T and schematic in manual says SPR(HBM) CPU.Now I want to change my motherboard to asrock c741 SP2C741D16X-2T, but I dont know if it supports xeon max
I saw that you also used the Q30H and Q2Y7 with asrock (EMR A0: Q2SR,Q2SP,Q2Y7,Q2Y8,Q2T7,Q30G,Q30H...)SPR-SP D0 ES work with Gigabyte up to R12/R17 BIOS (varies with model)
CSI/MRC 114.D30 = work
CSI/MRC 115.D14 = not work
mod. BIOS required in any case for SPR D0 and EMR A0 ES, i have D0 and A0 working on ASRock Rack C741.
later SPR-SP E0 stepping work (but not early E0 like Q03J e.g.)
QS is Retail silicon just with ES bit enabled, work on all motherboards who support the Retail version.
Not that I know of.I saw that you also used the Q30H and Q2Y7 with asrock (EMR A0: Q2SR,Q2SP,Q2Y7,Q2Y8,Q2T7,Q30G,Q30H...)
Besides the boot time issue, has either chip given you issues with asrock c741 or anything locked/disabled?
i can use latest available BIOS for EMR A0 ESIs there a chance to use the latest bios or are we locked to early/beta bios indefinitely?
no, EU = worst case.Do you happen to be in the US?
value < $150. risky, no returns.Any issues with customs, tariffs or shipping speed compared to eBay purchases?
never heared of it, i have subscribed, topped up my balance, and purchased.Do you have a referral code for superbuy?
Did anyone got gigabyte MS33-ARO F04 version BIOS?
MS03-CE0 F03 version BIOS
have both NOT.I went through the log and find out that these two versions have the feature I urgently need.
Hi,have both NOT.
what exactly do you reaching for ? what issue ?
the 806f1 microcode inside is platform 10 (SPR HBM) not platform 87 SPR-SPQVV5 and QYGH CPU must light up with the 806f1 microcode(other limitation still not discovered),
they need very old CSI/MRC code, even with microcode they do not work.QVV5 and QYGH CPU must light up with the 806f1 microcode(other limitation still not discovered)
Sure. I will try to add that. Thanks ; )the 806f1 microcode inside is platform 10 (SPR HBM) not platform 87 SPR-SP
you need 806f1_87
you can add microcode with MMTool and repair correct RBU checksum to flash in BMCWebGUI
sorry i had no coffee, for QYGH platform 10 is correct.QVV5 and QYGH CPU must light up with the 806f1 microcode(other limitation still not discovered), which is removed in the later version.
Not even in F06. The version mentioned earlier got the SPR-A- step microcode inside.
MS33-AR0 BIOS F01Sure. I will try to add that. Thanks ; )
I will also report the later results.

[Feature] SPR HBM A stepping is no longer supported from this BIOS version.Yes I believe it is a SPR-SP XCC es (56Core maybe?)sorry i had no coffee, for QYGH platform 10 is correct.
i still looked only for QVV5 which i guess is not a HBM model ?
no F01F04 is the latest version which support SPR-HBM A- according to the update log

some not funtional without microcode. But I've tried to use F06 and MS33-AR0 just few hours ago, and it did actually lights up. And of course it will stuck somewhere: Memory Intalizition code:B1. May because of incomplete memory control?
doubt that.At least it is a good news, maybe will work with later BIOS+microcode.
Let's give it a shot. Before that the only thing that good light it up is supermicro X13-SET-GC rev.1.00.some not funtional without microcode.
doubt that.
SPR D0 ES (like QYFS ) stoppped working at Intel CSI/MRC ver. 115.D14 update
try this. F01 with added HBM A microcodeLet's give it a shot. Before that the only thing that good light it up is supermicro X13-SET-GC rev.1.00.
