Epyc 9d64 CPU support

Hello all,

I've happen to get my hands on an AMD Epyc 9d64 (100-000001199) CPU from a SuperMicro server. As far as i understrood this CPU is a specific model for SuperMicro.
Now i have a question, does the T2SEEP Server Motherboard Support AMD EPYC 9004 Series CPU supports this CPU ? A seller from ebay claims it does support it.
I was looking in a CPU suport list of many of 9004 series mobos but could not find 9d64 in the list.
Can any other motherboard supports it ? Perhaps with BIOS mod or something.

custom OEM cpu are not listed as compatible because they can't be bought buy consumer(normaly)
Can any other motherboard supports it ? Perhaps with BIOS mod or something.
99% of custom OEM are not special silicon, just maybe higher TDP/PPT.
but they can be vendor locked, e.g. once ran in a Dell they run only in Dell.

Thanks ! I will try to contact TTYINFO vendor perhaps he can confirm if this CPU is supported. I just don't want to buy a 750$ mobo for nothing :)

found some more info about that 9D64
not clear it is supermicro custom:
removed some PCIe lanes, can affect DualSocket capability
only 8 memory channels
and some more missing.
tested on Supermicro H13 and ASUS
edit:
H13SSL, T2SEEP, mz33
seems to run on all motherboard but note the CPU lacks some PCIe lanes (not confirmed)

i guess Meta, because odd core count, lack of PCIe lanes and only 8 mem.channels...
(7D12,7D13)
have seen some motherboards with only 8/6 RAM slots.
e.g. Tyan S8050
Advantech ASMB-831(no 9005 )
ASRock Rack GENOAD8UD

Thanks. I got 12 of them new in sealed box. Now i need to open the box and have to do some tests. Is there any information about 2P settings? How can i check the amount of PCIe lanes?

Some bad news: The 2P setup only boot up a single time and freeze immediately, the BMC is not reachable in this time.

Hello,
As information on this processor is scarce and this is one of the few resources, I decided to register here in order to share my experience and ask for help.
I am currently trying to make this CPU work on an H13SSL with 6x16GB of RAM.

A valuable source of information is xmrig: L3 cache size is 176MB (other than stated above), and the CPU ID is the same as for EPYC 9754 (128 core Zen4c/Bergamo). Also, RAM population is given, but no surprise there. 8/12 DIMMS.

"lstopo" reveals that there are 5 "full" 16-core Zen4c dies and one additional "half" 8-core die. This is somewhat surprising to me.

The lack of PCI lanes appears to be a major issue. Neither my SATA HDD nor one of the SSD nor a PCI-Card SSD (all slots 1..5 tested) were detected, not even in BIOS.
I had tested different BIOS bifurcation options instead of auto, none of them worked.

Starting Ubuntu from a USB stick does work. However, I need a real hard disk and that's where I'm asking for your help:
Attached I send two screenshots from lstopo and lspci. Is there any chance to see which PCI lanes are accessible? So I'm missing the link between the PCI ID and the PCI name in the motherboard documentation, where the names are "G0, P0, ... ,G3,P3". Also, I am not sure if an address occurring in the lspci output even means that it is accessible...

The only option I currently see would be to try if an MCIO port is working with an U.2 SSD. But I don't have the hardware here and wanted to hear your advice first.
