120 sold, that's $500k delta in pricing. I think the chance they don't cancel the orders is zero. But I will go make a wish!

but its a false delta, the other drives that has been sold was 799? 899? thoose are much newer, much faster drives, theese are older.

apart from that, your probably right.

but absolutely nobody, will pay 4k for a ibm drive, max I'd go for thoose is $5-600, so thats more of a $36k delta

I wonder how that would work with eBay, cancelling 120 orders surely must tank their seller rating. Even though they probably have to cancel them given the price difference

I ordered on both, betting that at least one of the two will get cancelled. If they don't, I'll be selling a lot of smaller drives!

That's actually very nice price-wise, comparable to the 15 TB there were so many of around here for 900 USD, once you add shipping and EU VAT !

But I'm not sure I want to buy 2 of these and blow my entire budget for the month  .

EDIT 1: QLC NAND Flash ??? That's in the Article Description at least !

EDIT 2: Artikelzustand: Neuware, Bulk, must be an Error, are they selling a brand new Drive ?

yeah those are Enterprise QLC drives, that's the ones that are used by AI labs. So random write IOPS are a bit weak. Everything else is on par with TLC (at least per specs). Not too worried about endurance for a drive of that size.

Unsure if I should go for it or not. Seems like a good deal with 12 Months Warranty but ... nearly 2400 EUR (for 2) o_O.

Quick look at cheapest new 32TB spinner (Seagate SkyHawk AI +Rescue 32TB) goes for € 1159

If i had the money i'd consider this a great deal, they are new unused!

But i don't have the money so i'll just consider it crap that i don't need ;)

Almost certainly a mispricing given their price for other drives. Which is why my money is on everyone cancelling this morning's orders!

All the cancelled orders from discounttechnology's "pricing error" didn't impact them at all. I don't think eBay is too quick to bite the hand that feeds them seller fees.

Small buyers will be absolutely last in line to get a slice of that pie. The hyperscalers will buy them first (AWS, Google and Microsoft aren't going bankrupt when the bubble pops), and then the mid-tier providers like Linode, DO, OVH. I doubt there will be anything good left for individual buyers.
