Does anyone know of a site with a list of historical SSDs and their main usage.

On the enterprise field there are write-intensive, mixed-use, and read-intensive SSDs.

I'm looking for a list with which model would fall in which category, and the release dates. Capacities would be nice to have, but not an absolute requirement.

I tried to maintain this a long time ago in the Vertex 1 era. It is really hard since there are so many vendors and so many slightly nuanced model numbers/ naming conventions.

Last time I was looking for Used SSDs on Ebay I just started making a list of basically what I was looking for.

Code:
(SSD,Solid State Drive) (Intel s,Intel 750,Hynix,SM843T,SV843,MZ7WD,HAGP,MZ7GE,PM863,PM853,SM863,SSDSC2BA,PX03SNF080) -60 -64 -80 -120 -128 -200 -240 -250 -256 -300 -320 -mSATA
Thats what I finally came up with But I know this has been about 10 months so I assume some of the search terms might be old.

Wow! That list / eBay parameters is super helpful. Anyone have any additions?

Slightly off topic, but I've been using this to search for 847 series Supermicro cases:

Code:
(847e16-rjbod1, 847e26-rjbod1, 847e2c-r1k28jbod, 847e16-r1k28jbod, 847e2c-r1k28jbodsc847e26-r1k28jbod, jbod2312s2sp)
