Interesting, I guess they know the sudden interest and aren't just going to give them away. I wonder what the accepted offers have been paying. Personally, I'd rather have something that supports full sata space and PCI-E support, but that's just my 2c

My $105 offer just got accepted. I've bought a lot of stuff from them so don't know if that helps? ha

Oh man, this one is all over the place. My $129 offer (what the OP got accepted on their initial, single item, purchase) over the weekend was flat out rejected shortly before expiring...not even a counter. Then after @986box got a counter based his offer of $1 more than mine, I offered $135 and that got accepted in 10 minutes.

I was actually feeling pretty good about it till I saw your post! :D I've bought from them a couple times a year, most recently a small item last week....so "not a lot". Maybe I need to buy more often so I can get better pricing!

Now I just have to decide what to do with it.

Countered $140. Let’s see how it goes. Looking SuperChassis 505-203B. If anyone has one, let me know.

Thanks for this suggestion, I wasn't aware of this case. This will mount it in the rear of my rack while still having airflow go from front to back of the rack! This will line up nicely with my switch back there.

I am gonna get the case through provantage I think.

Ended up grabbing some extra parts to go with that case as it is not very complete on its own. I found them all at govgroup.com (which i haven't used before, so let's see how this goes...). No rush so I can wait out some backordered parts (supermicro.com also had half of these backordered).

#1 Supermicro 1U I/O Shield for A1SRM-LN7F/LN5F in SC510 Chassis MCP-260-00085-0B [#MCP-260-00085-0B]
Quantity 1 x $5.31 = $5.31

#2 Supermicro Hard Drive Mounting Bracket MCP-220-00051-0N [#MCP-220-00051-0N] - single height so i can use the pci-e expander
Quantity 2 x $3.55 = $7.10

#3 Supermicro 40mm Cooling Fan FAN-0100L4 [#FAN-0100L4]
Quantity 2 x $10.20 = $20.40

#4 Supermicro CPU Fan Adapter MCP-320-81302-0B [#MCP-320-81302-0B]
Quantity 2 x $4.52 = $9.04

#5 Supermicro Retention Bracket MCP-220-00044-0N [#MCP-220-00044-0N]
Quantity 1 x $2.97 = $2.97

Acceptance offer is somewhere between 100-150$.

I offered $100 and no counter/offer expired. Then put in $150 and got accepted. Should have went $125, but whatever. New PFsense/OPNsense build here I come.

My counter offer for $140 expired. My guess is if it’s new single item order, don’t expect too low a price.

Has anyone who purchased one of these gotten their boards yet? I got mine yesterday. Very clean and even included an I/O shield.

But...BIOS has a password. Anyone else gotten a board with a password, and if so any luck getting around it? I'll try all the usual workarounds this weekend, but thought I'd ask in case anyone has already figured it out.

EDIT: Well that was easy. CMOS battery out for a few minutes did the trick.

You can either update the bios (FreeDOS usb) or CMOS clear.
