I'm watching this on eBay and sent off a few offers. ESISO offered $150 off eBay, but I want to hold out for that sweet sweet $125.
There is a listing for a ton of ES versions of these. I read somewhere on here that it's not a good idea to get ES for a dual socket motherboard, is that true? If so I'll avoid those entirely, but I'll send them an offer if it is a viable option.

Feasible yes, quiet? maybe. depends what you call quiet.
You will probably need to replace the stock fans in the case if you want it very quiet.
At that point the PSU fan would be the loudest pretty sure its standard atx though so you could likely replace that also if its too loud for your liking.
Try it out with the stock fans first and adjust your fan curve, additionally you could replace the cpu cooler with a bequiet or noctua cooler.

Lol yeah. Those 6028R servers are great. For higher end configurations I usually can't use 1U Quanta so having a handful of the 6028R on hand makes it way easier to accommodate any possible dedicated server configuration a customer might want to order.You do that all the time
