I've been hanging out here for a month or two trying to build up my lab. I've been trying to find a good LFF storage solution for weeks on eBay.
Finally found an answer and jut bought 2 of these - figure someone else here can benefit and buy the final 2.
BRAND NEW (old stock obviously) rebranded Dell R720XD with the 12 LFF drive bays - I probably would have paid this if they didn't each have 6 NEW 4TB 7.2k SAS drives in them, but... they do. And 6 free bays on each for future expansion (appears no trays, just blanks but I'll take it!)
No RAM (anyone selling?) and lame processors but I'm planning on throwing some 10G NICs in them and using them as NAS boxes. I think I'll be happy.
