E5-4600 series CPU in dual socket MB?

Hello! Anybody have tested 46xx series CPUs in dual socket mobo? I interested in install e5-4650 in bl460c gen8. Maybe anybody can test it?

I've used 2 x E5-4650 v3 QS in a SM X11DRi mobo before. Not sure if HP puts any restrictions in their BIOS or mobo design. They seem to spend so much engineering resources to design restrictions.

They generally work just fine. Even single socket boards support it. People seldom do it however on account of the price premium you usually pay for CPUs with quad socket support.

Tested with E5-4617 - works fine! Now wait lot of e5-4650. Best cpu in performance/$ for render farms
