Anyone knows more about this OEM CPU? Only thing I could find was that some people around the internet suspect/hope that, apart from the lower TDP, it performs exactly as an E5-2667v2.
Seen it in an ebay action and,, just for giggles, tried to low-ball the seller. He countered with 550€, which is quite cheap for an v2 deal but still too expensive for me as an update for my current E5-2670v1 setup.

Awesome CPU 8C, high frequency :)
That price seems a bit high though to be honest for a old V2.

While not high frequency you can get 2670 v2 for almost around 200 $ now, more cores lower freq.

But has it the same turbo frequencies as the E5-2667v2? The TDP would say no, but nobody knows for sure.

Unfortunately the two top-end parts (especially the E5-2697v2) sell for rather outrageous prices. You have no choice if you need more computing power but don't want to replace your motherboard and RAM too.

I only see ES parts for that price. Prices for productions parts start at around 300-350€, if you're lucky.
