So I got my hands on four E5-4627V3 processors but I don't have anything to put them in. Since my current desktop is a bit dated, I was thinking of using these. The case is a Corsair Obsidian 800D which can accommodate an E-ATX motherboard. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any E-ATX quad socket motherboards out there for these processors. I looked at Supermicro, Tyan and Asrock so far but didn't find anything. Has anyone ever come across an E-ATX quad processor board? Doesn't seem like there is enough real estate on a board that size for 4 sockets.

Tyan used to make EATX quad socket motherboards, but socket 940 or 1207 (example) is considerably smaller than 2011-3. I don't think such a thing exists anymore as the market was very small and you only got a single PCIe slot. Those CPUs will work in single/dual socket boards though, so you're probably better off going down that path.

Supermicro has some quad socket mainboards for v1 & 2 cpus, but they are using proprietary formats (bigger than eatx) and are only sold in complete systems.

I have never come across a quad-socket E-ATX (or SSI-EEB) motherboard in recent years. I assume they don't exist.
