That's pretty neat, and not a bad price considering you are getting dual NVMe PCIe Gen 2 x 2. I wouldn't spend much on the SSDs considering you would be capped at 2 x instead of 4x, but $259 for a PCIe Switch, dual M.2 NVMe slots AND a NBASE-T port.

There is no doubt the Ethernet is provided by aquantia so there is little support from OSes. Bummer though!

I have used the Asus XG-C100C 10Gb adapter on Windows 10 workstations, Windows 2016 server and Windows 2019 server (both Essentials and Standard) without any problems. This adapter uses the aquantia chip. Why do you think it is bad?

If your trying to use this for esxi or freenas or any other popular as distribution, you are mostly out of luck. Don’t get me wrong, I have these aquantia cards and in windows, it’s AOK.
