They are, my assumption is they aren't that popular because of their largess. If I wasn't sticking it in a 846, I probably wouldn't have bought it. The 24 Ram slots and SQUARE heatsink mounts are what sold me. Very few SM dual v1/2 boards have square mounts and that increases the price/options when you shop for heatsinks. Anyway, I thought it was a better value used @ $350 a couple months back vs the asrock boards everyone was raving about for $320 or so. I just wish they would have gone with lsi instead of c606 like they did with some other boards from that era, but then I'm using this as an AIO storage/vm machine...

Can X9DR3-LN4F fit in a Phantek Enthoo Pro case?
Sadly, no. The bottom of the board would be blocked by the hook for the PSU shroud.

an Intel S2600CP2J is currently installed, the X9DR3-LN4F+ is 1.68 inches taller, just a little too big.

I goofed, it does fit, taking up space at the top. 6 of the bottom standoffs line up, the top ones do not.

Just an update. After an initial low ball offer of $240. I managed to pick up 2 @ $270 each. FYI.
(Seems seller has couple of listings of same board).

This is real nice for WS with usb3 and 7.1 sound onboard and reasonable price. Too bad v3 and v4 cpu are still so freaking expensive.... is there anything similarwise to e5-2670 speedwise that's at least reasonably priced? DDR4 still more expensive than DDR3...
