Has 1.5TB max of RAM. You won't run out of RAM anytime soon

Is this a power hungry board?

I use a 1100W power supply for mine. I think you can get away with a 750W if you don't run a PCI-Express graphics card.

I believe this one does if this is the chasis that was all the rage with the dual cpu's. This is an E-ATX motherboard and I think the P4000 can support E-ATX

Actually this baord is EE-ATX according to SM's Website. EE-ATX is harder to fit in a cases because it is nonstandard.

@TeoZ, just realize that if you buy that supermicro case, it will be very loud without modification and note the limitations of that backplane when it comes to drives > 2TB. That said, still a great chassis
