── WHY I NEED THIS ──
Two-node Proxmox cluster build:
• s-proxmox-a: Supermicro H11SSL-i (EPYC SP3, 8 channels)
• s-proxmox-b: Huawei RH2288H v3 (dual Xeon E5-2683 v4)
The H11SSL-i has a confirmed dead DIMMF1 slot — two different known-good sticks tested, Supermicro support confirmed hardware failure, out of warranty. With EPYC’s interleaving rules, any asymmetric population (5/6/7 channels) collapses performance. Only clean options are 4 or 8 channels. 8× requires a working F1, so 4× 64GB = 256GB at 4-channel is the only viable path.
The Huawei has its own constraint: Xeon E5 v4 drops to DDR4-2133 at 2DPC. Fix is 8× 32GB (1DPC). The 32GB sticks currently in the EPYC go there, leaving the EPYC with only 16GB sticks — hence this post.

Essentially new, briefly installed in Huawei, confirmed working.
Proof available: IPMI screenshots, dmidecode, PowerShell output.

4× 64GB DDR4-2666 ECC RDIMM — RDIMM only, NOT LRDIMM.
Acceptable parts: Samsung M393A8G40MB2-CTD, SK Hynix HMAA8GR7A2R4N-VK, Micron MTA72ASS8G72PSZ-2S6x, Kingston KSM26RD4/64HAR.
── CASH ADJUSTMENT ──
Not expecting a straight swap — I have checked prices extensively. Used 64GB DDR4-2666 RDIMM runs €200–300/stick, my 12 sticks fetch €500–600 total. I’m prepared to add meaningful cash to bridge the gap. Max cash: 450€.
