I'm searching for a pair of heatsinks for my Super micro X9DRW-iF motherboard which has two LGA2011 sockets.
Wonder if any LGA2011 compatible heat sink will work.

    Such as this one Intel Socket LGA2011 4U Server Heat-Sink | LGA2011-G18140-001-CCI | eBay

I will definitely check the TPU of my processors and make sure the heatsinks CA handle the heat.

But in terms of dimensions, do I have to buy a supermicro specific heatsinks?

I'm using the NH-U12DX i4 with two industrial ppc 3000 rpm fans in my "desktops"/workstations, best combination of cooling capacities and noise.

Since this 'W'IO you will need a SM 2u chassis with compatible rear window. Not heard if any one used in 3U or workstation chassis.

Check whether Narrow or Square ILM and get the corresponding one unless the one you are looking into has both mounting options.
