It seems like there is a lot more going on here, but at the same time it is a "much" more mature option than Shipyard and Portainer. I do like the fact that Portainer is basically Docker's Swarm mode with a UI. Rancher has a lot more going on and uses Cattle orchestration by default. Docker Swarm is still in experimental mode.
