In general, no. I've gotten my hands on an ASUS PIKE card, several LSI cards, a motherboard with a built-in chip, a Supermicro card, an HP card, and a weird prototype card. Performance has been essentially identical.

Today I got an Intel 320 serial 300GB SSD, and did a benchmark in my server(IBM 3650M2+M5014) with fio-2.0.9.
The result shock me, iops=48732, bandwidth=285.3MB/s, it's much higher than Intel's data, could anybody explain it?

I take it the you have the M5014 controller ?
The performance gain you see is from the caching the M5014 can do with its 256MB cache on board.
