Well after 8 months on shopBLTs pre-order list, my number finally came up. Got my 7443P ordered, but they raised the price last minute to $1487.99, although with free shipping and tax included.

Just got notification that my 7443p shipped from shopblt, after being on the list since June. Might be worth checking out if you still want one, last I saw they were getting 500 ish

I've been watching them come in and out of stock at shopBLT, which I suppose is encouraging, but I still haven't seen any stock appearing in the UK/Europe. Am I looking in the wrong places, or is it really a tale of two continents?

Europe had stock and availability months before North America it seems.
Been waiting for a 7443P since September 2021, current ETA is May 2022 - doesn't feel like there's any availability over here at the moment!

i mean that's pretty late in the scheme of things. these are hot chips, if you only just placed an order in September, then I can understand that the supply would be exhausted by then.

I pre-ordered on May 4th 2021 from WiredZone, who cancelled my order without warning on May 24th. I then placed a new pre-order with shopBLT on May 24th, 2021, and didnt get to actually order my CPU until Jan 4th, 2022. (arrived a few days later)

if you go back to the first few pages, you'll see that many europe based users were getting Milan chips around May/June 2021. the only people in the US that had them seemed to be reviewers or huge OEMs.

I didn't realise that they were only making one wafer's worth ;)

Let's hope the supply situation improves later in the year.

I’m in the UK, and we’ve procured 12x 7443P CPUs in four batches over the last 6 months, only having to wait a week or two each time.

As I mentioned in an earlier post in this thread, you have to put the work and effort in to source these chips. Repeated calls to multiple distributors, resellers, brokers, negotiations and all-but-bribery. It’s almost a full-time job in itself, but has worked for us every time. It’s up to you whether the payoff is worth the effort.
