Hey,
I have a DNS server and it has 4 NICS, each with different ips 192.168.10.xxx,192.168.11.xxx,192.168.36.xxxx,and 192.168.3.xxx.
There are approx. 25 pcs on each of the ip segments above.

The problem is when a when a client trys to connect to the server by using its name it keeps resolving to any of the above four ips for the server.
Some clients are always able to connect to the server but some aren't and always resolve to the wrong ip.
How can i make sure that the dns server always gives the correct ip based on the ip segment that the client is on?

Hey David,

NetMask Ordering is ON already.
Are there any other side effects on the network if i disable Round Robin?

If you have a service running with DNS load balancing, you won't end up sending traffic to more than one of the hosts. For example, you might also see one domain controller being hit a little more than others, or being the only DC in use.
