I am considering a second/redundant Internet connection for my business service to ensure that my site is available even if my primary provider goes down.
I would need my DNS to resolve to the redundant system in the case of an outage, though, because I do not want to burden clients with a backup URL.
DNS Made Easy appears to be one service that supports this interest by doing heartbeat messages on regular intervals and adjusting DNS resolution accordingly.
Does anyone have experience with this solution or similar solutions?
