Hi, I’ve been trying to get this card and U.2 NVME drives working together and I’ve only been able to get a single drive recognized at a time. This diagram is on the card and while it looks straightforward I am just trying to confirm that I’m understanding it correctly or figure out where I’m wrong so I can understand it better. Thanks in advance!

does “x” represent a switch that’s not in use? I get the on/off switch description but that bottom row all switches are either “off” or “x” and that seems weird to have a setting for every switch off/not used.

See this post [Link] for a link to the manufacturer's page (vs reseller).
Also, remainder of that thread might have more details, and STH'ers using the card.

What mainbboard are you using? In which slot did you put this card?

I’ve tried it on 3 boards. The Asus wrx80e wifi sage x3975 slot 3 and slot 5 but when adjusting the BIOS settings it gets stuck/won’t boot either as windows or hardware instability error, Asrock Rack X570D4U-2L2T x5950x has a single x16 slot/used it and MSI Meg x399 Creation w 2990wx tried in slots 2,3,4. I think the last one has a more suited bifurcation option for slots 3&5, still to try. The server board seems to tolerate it well enough but also can’t get into my windows server OS so idk. Basically unable to boot or when I can get it to boot it generally doesn’t work/shows as a device w driver error/needs update. Or if I have 2 plugged in/2 cards it only shows 1. Using a carrier card off Amazon for 1 card and the other in this wired setup shows both in BIOS but then it has difficulties getting past BIOS to the OS. Some of the MEG x399 lanes only support x8x8 but I assume that’s ok. Even if not, I’ve tried it in the x4x4x4x4 configuration and it should work but doesn’t.
There’s also some driver issues but I’m hoping to resolve them using these drivers. Limited space/space constraints for having multiple systems in an easily accessible/check/swap location.
